Obviously, this will depend on a number of variables, but there are 2 ways that we track progress in this program:
Pounds Lost: The more weight you have to lose, the more weight you can sustainably lose per week. 1-2 pounds per week is pretty standard for most people, but if you have more than 100 pounds to lose, you may lose up to 5 pounds per week early on.
% of Weight Lost: This is a better metric for tracking rate of change.
Since we will be using an InBody for measurements we will also be watching body fat %, total body fat, water weight, and visceral fat.
This, of course, will also depend on a number of factors but you should start seeing the scale go down in the first couple of weeks.
WE ARE NUTRITION COACHES, NOT DIETICIANS. WE DO NOT TREAT OR MANAGE ANY EATING DISORDERS OR CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS.
With that disclaimer out of the way, you should consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new program. Your coach will work with you to tailor the program to your health needs, ensuring a safe and effective plan that fits within any medical parameters set by your doctors.
You meal plan can be customized to accommodate any food allergies and intolerances, avoiding any problematic foods while still providing balanced nutrition.
This is highly variable person-to-person, and mostly depends on how much time you want to spend on each task.
This will also change throughout the program, with the expectation that you will spend less time on these tasks each week.
That said, on average you can expect to spend 1-2 hours a week on program-related activities, including your coaching calls, logging your meals and habits, weighing in daily, and completing lessons. So this may end up being closer to 2-3 hours during the first few weeks, and my only be an hour a week towards the end of the program.
If you meal prep on the weekends, that will take another 1-2 hours a week.
Definitely! Your meal plan will will include quick and easy meal prep options, allowing you to minimize time spent in the kitchen while still maintaining balanced, nutritious meals.
Alternatively, you can simply order your meals from a meal prep service, which your coach can integrate into your meal plan.
